How To Take OptiCore Pro: Dosage & Tips
Updated 2026
OptiCore Pro is a once-daily capsule. Here's how to use it well — with a couple of steps this formula makes important.
One capsule daily
Take one capsule per day as directed on the label, ideally with food and water, or as directed by a healthcare professional. Each bottle has 30 capsules, a one-month supply.
Tell your doctor about the biotin
The 2,500 mcg biotin can interfere with some blood tests, including thyroid and cardiac (troponin) markers. Tell your doctor and lab you take it, and pause it before testing if advised. This is the single most important practical point.
Check medication interactions
Alfalfa interacts with warfarin, saw palmetto with blood thinners, and stinging nettle with diabetes and blood-pressure drugs. Clear it with a doctor or pharmacist before starting if you take any of these.
Mind the iron
It contains iron, so keep it away from children and don't combine it with other iron supplements unless a doctor advises.
See an eye doctor about vision changes
Blurred vision, eye pain, floaters or flashes, or gradual vision loss need an eye exam — not a supplement. Don't use OptiCore Pro to postpone that.
Set the right expectation
Treat it as general nutritional support, not eye treatment. Use the 180-day guarantee if it isn't worth it to you.
